Rand put it best in her 1973 article, “Censorship: Local and Express”:

You've seen the videos by now of the Obama bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia. Of course, his staff quickly went into damage control mode with several implausible excuses. Here are some more they might want to consider for the
Presidential fopaux.
Could it be possible that Obama is simply being courteous/polite/civil even though there are fundamental differences between us and Saudi Arabia, as a prelude to opening up more honest communication? We can either do nothing, remain in conflict, or make active, mature steps to attempt to create more harmony in this world. I am ok with being the first to extend the hand of peace. Sandra
ReplyDeleteIf this were an isolated incident, I could let it slide. But this is part of a pattern that has Obama groveling to leaders and apologizing to people around the world for America's past sins. His "extending the hand of peace" makes us look weak in the eyes of our enemies and results in North Korea setting off nukes and launching missiles in our direction, and Iran doing the same to threaten Isreal. What's Obama's response? "We're keeping an eye on them." Wow. I feel much better.
